The Big Issue : Edition 447
THEBIGISSUE6--25DEC2013 23 Merry Christmas to all my customers on Oxford St. Kerrie, Darlinghurst. Hi, I'd just like to say to everybody Merry Christmas and a great New Year. Come see me at my pitch to wish me and my sister a Merry Christmas. And maybe buy a mag! Christine, Sydney. Hi to all my loyal customers. Have a great New Year. I hope to see you for many Christmases to come. Tanya, Sydney. Thanks for your support and your amazing chats throughout the year. I hope next year will be happy and successful. Be your best, relax and meditate, don't do the bad things and live your dreams. Stay away from negative people and count your blessings not your sorrows every day. Enjoy Christmas and the holidays. Jason M, Sydney. This is a good Christmas because it’s the frst Christmas I have a job. When I see family this Christmas, I can tell them I have a job. I'm looking forward to Christmas because New Year's is straight after. I can sell a magazine to someone, so they can give it to someone else for a Christmas present. Chris R, Sydney. QUEENSLAND Peace, goodwill, buy mags and farewell, Cassie [former state manager]. Ted, Brisbane. Joining The Big Issue this year has changed my life, it's getting me out of the house, given me back a social life and fnanced a few holidays, too. My wish for next year is to continue making more money and to keep doing this job because I love it. And I love meeting everybody that walks by. Alfred, West End, Brisbane. This year has been great, especially as I got an award from QUT for service to their community. I would like to wish all my customers all the best for Christmas and I hope to see you in the New Year. Tom, Brisbane. I wish all the people of George St Brisbane a safe and happy festive season. Thank you all very much for everything in 2013. Greg, Brisbane. Thank you for a good year, I hope you have a good one in 2014. Thanks for your help. I look forward to your patronage in 2014 and I hope you can send more customers my way. Thanks for buying a calendar, too. Gary, Brisbane. Like sands through the hourglass, so are the days of this year; a great and wonderful year. Even though there was the sudden passing of a fellow vendor -- his friendship and loyalty will be remembered forever. Recently, the wonder of new life was brought also to a fellow vendor: he now has many uncles and aunties to keep an ever-watchful eye over him. But let's not forget the kind and generous people who stopped to buy a magazine or just say hi. It is your ongoing support that brings us into work every day. Merry Christmas and God bless. Norm, Brisbane. I wish to be still clear of cancer this time next year. Brad, Brisbane. I wish to have a better year next year than I have had over the past few months. Cindy, Brisbane. I wish everyone a nice Christmas and a Happy New Year. Glenn, Brisbane. Thank you to all my customers. I welcomed a new little boy in to the world in 2013, and we also lost one of our vendors. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a safe New Year. Tammy, Brisbane. Thank you to the people who have supported me over the past 12 months, vendors and customers. I wish to be able to retire within fve years. All the best for Christmas and the New Year. Arthur, Brisbane and Logan.
